I am going to make a post of my own favorite food. This is a dish that, I created it myself, when I was a chef cook.

                                              Roasted chicken with honey

I used very simple ingredients like sea salt, black peppers, vegetable oil, lemon grass, lemon leaves, bio honey.

After the chicken has been roasted, I covered it with honey and roasted it again another 3 minute.

For the sauce ingredient I used fish sauce, palm sugar, chili, garlic, coriander, lemon juice.

I grew up in a country side and we used to have a small chicken farm. We ate chicken every week. Most of my favorite dish is with chicken.

Would you like to take a bite?

Moroccan Tanjia

AnforaMarrakesh.jpg

Tanjia is like the tajine, whose name indicates the pot used for cooking and the cooked food. Tanjia is a jar of pottery that glows from inside, used in ancient times to store and transport oil. Its name today is associated with a dish that is considered one of the most distinguished Moroccan dishes of international renown. The dish of tanjia is associated with the mind of most of those interested in cooking in the city of Marrakesh. This is due to the dedication and creativity of the Marrakesh in preparing this dish. The innovation of tanjia is due to craftsmen who have been creating centuries in various fields of traditional industry in our country. In cities where traditional industry is considered to be an important economic activity such as Fez, Taroudant, Meknès, and Zan ... the craftsmen attend the Tangeriyeh on their weekly night to be ready on the following day, enjoy eating among their friends and family in Kharja to the gardens and orchards near the city, "integrity". Tangerine eaters, which are considered men's specialties, are present in most ancient Moroccan cities.

Preparation of tanjia :

Preparation of the tanjia dish is one of the great rituals. Meat, spices and other ingredients are placed in the jar. The latter is covered with tarpaulin, which is fixed by an iron wire. Tear holes in tarpaulins occur until steam leaks out during cooking. Tangerine is cooked in the oven and cooked as follows: "Mall of the Franchi" ** brings a pile of hot ash called almond.

Dip the tanjia in the center of the amygdala and then be surrounded by a little embers. The success of tanjia cooking is linked to the experience and craftsmanship of the Franchi Mall. Through the smell emitted from it can determine whether the tangerine matured and "fed" and ready to eat.

  • The frenchie is the place to heat the traditional bathroom. * "Frankish Mall" is the person who guards the heating of the bathroom by the remnants of wood "carpentry".

Recently most of the bathrooms have become dependent on modern methods to heat them instead of wood and therefore the tanjia cooking in the oven was replaced by other techniques: - Cook the tangerine in a pressure cooker at a very low temperature. - Cook the tangerine in the oven in the middle of a clay pot filled with dough and at a temperature not exceeding 120 degrees. - Finally cook the tanjia in a heavy cooker for a full night on the embers.

To prepare a successful tangerine, you must use mutton pieces rich in gelatin such as: Veal, Veal, Veal, Calf, Veal All the ingredients used to season them must be of high quality such as, cumin, saffron free, sour lemons incense, margarine, olive oil ... To enrich them, some types of chutney are added, such as chickpeas and dry beans, "white cowpea". Dry fruits such as raisins, dates, slices, almonds, cereals such as wheat and rice.

Dip the tanjia in a small amount of water, close well and cook on low heat until the meat is cooked and softened by the gelatin and is characterized by the flavors of spices and the unique taste of ghee

Dog Themed Cookies & Cream Macarons.

20140802_163644.jpg

A client had ordered a box of macarons as a birthday gift and asked for a dog theme with cookies & cream filling. She was happy for me to come up with the design, as long as it is dog related since the birthday girl/boy likes dogs. This was an exciting design to do because I love animals. I absolutely loved the little bones and the little tongues sticking out. All the decorations were handmade and edible. I used fondant and sugar glue to piece them together.

Nice.
This one of my favorite food. "Indian style lentils". It is healthy, healthy and suitable for vegans

The preparation is very simple, let's go to it.

First we mashed the garlic and the ginger, I did it with a blender. Then in a pan we place the mashed potatoes, the onion, the carrot and the pepper and cook it for about 10-20 minutes until we see that it is to our liking.

On the other hand we will prepare a very simple sauce: we need the juice of a lemon, a little cumin and parsley, we mix everything very well.

And finally: as the red lentils are ready in about 20 minutes, we put them in the pot, with the refried we have made, a glass of water and another glass of vegetable milk. When you have 5 minutes to be ready add the sauce and let it finish cooking. And ready!

The carrot is a great source of vitamins, minerals and especially beta-carotene, important for vision and skin, the pepper also provides beta carotene in less proportion but also contains important vitamins such as C and B6. Ginger is a super anticancer food and is a great help for the whole body, the onion along with garlic that serve to cleanse the body of toxins.
And red lentils apart from providing us with many vitamins, are easier to digest than normal lentils, although they contain less fiber, but with the amount of vegetables we have used, nothing happens, because we already have a large supply of fiber.

I'm Spanish, if you find any spelling error, let me know. Thank you!

Your Indian style lentils looks good and healthy. Sometime, I like to eat a vega food too. Thanks for joining the foodchallenge. I wish you to win this foodchallenge. Please do not forget to upvote and resteem this post. Thanks and greeting from @chanthasam

Beef RIBs grilled
73DFF3E5-C3EE-4CF0-B5B9-5D855A3E6052.jpeg

Pork ribs are pretty ubiquitous. However, it's pretty uncommon these days to go to a barbecue where barbecued beef ribs are served. They should be served more often because they're fantastic! If you want to do something a little different that's very easy to barbecue and very delicious, I suggest giving beef ribs a try. Cooking up this somewhat uncommon dish is a breeze. All you need is a slab of beef ribs, an easy spice rub recipe, a barbecue, and time to cook them at a low temperature for a few hours.

Hi, kunthy the Beef Ribs grilled looks amazing. Did you made it your self? Thanks for joining this Amazing Foodchallenge. I wish you to win this foodchallenge. Do not forget to upvote and resteem. Greeting from @chanthasam

"Carlota de limón" / "Lemon Carlota" is a delicious dessert that combines delicious Marias cookies with dulce de leche cream, then it is refrigerated and served as a cold cake.

Check my publication so you can see the images of the elaboration process: https://steemit.com/food/@unataldani/carlota-de-limon-paso-a-paso-or-receta-facil-or

Preparation:

In a bowl, add a can of evaporated milk and a can condensed milk. Mix with a blender preferably.

Add the juice of 6 lemons. Shake.

Note: As the mixture is thick, I recommend that you add 1/2 cup of milk to make it a little more liquid. This step is optional.

Place a layer of "María" cookies, previously soaked in a cup of milk, in a refractory mold, followed by a layer of the prepared mixture. Continue with the layers until the mixture ends.

Garnish with crushed cookies (or lemon zest, peanuts). In my case, I decorated with "oreo" vanilla cookies.

Refrigerate and serve.

✴PASTICHO VENEZOLANO✴
IMG_20180311_164318.jpg
PhotoGrid_1520804224661.jpg

This is a recipe that is well known in many countries, we also know it as the Lasagna name, The secret of the pastiche is in the preparation of the meat and the taste of the bechamel sauce if these two ingredients have a good flavor, take into account I'm sure the pastiche will look exquisite.
The pastiche are sheets of pasta, which come in many presentations, there are sheets that are cooked directly in the oven and others are cooked in water.
The preparation of the Pasticho consists of preparing the ground meat or chicken, the one of your preference in a rich sauce of well seasoned tomato, like the béchamel sauce, the ingredients of the Pasticho are those that you prefer can be ham, cheese, corn, bacon, endless ingredients.
Armar el Pasticho is very, we assemble it by layers one of meat, another of pasta, one of ham and so on until you finish and finally the cheese that is your preference.
El Pasticho is one of the favorite dishes of Venezuelans.

Well my dear friend @chanthasam I say goodbye to me was a pleasure to participate in this wonderful contest, good luck to all and a great regards from my beloved VENEZUELA 👌👍😘

Your rice soup look very delicious @kunthy. Could you please tell us about your rice soup?

Hi everyone, my name is Sarah and i want to introduce one of my favorite Algerian plate which is prepared for great occasion like marriage for exemple.
The name of the plate is Lham Lahlou wich means literally “sweet meat” because it is made with apricots and prunes and also meat, when all are cooked togather taht makes the plate sweety and salty. We can serve it with almonds or sesame seeds.

And it is very delicious with fresh bread.
The picture is mine, took from my blog www.a-croquer.fr

Wow, Lham Lahlou look very delicious with sesame seeds. Too bad, I can only look at it, but can not try it. The way you discribed the food is great @acroquer. Thanks for joining the foodchallenge. Chili Con Carne with mashed sweet potato, pork chop and fries

IMG_20170707_212336.jpg

I love this meal. It is so delicious.

Chili Con Carne
I bet you know this. It consists of Chili, minced meat, corn, tomato pulp and a few spices. One can make it without meat as well but it tastest better with meat.

Mashed sweet potato
This is very easy to made. It is just like making normal mashed potato but with sweet potato. You cook them and then you squish them and add milk + some spice mixture.
Voilà, bon appétit!

Pork chop
Normally I buy them directly from the fresh counter in the next store. Then I fry them until get a little bit brown and smell delectable. Very yummy.

(French) Fries
Sometimes I make them myself but it is a lot of work and not easy. So normally I take frozen fries (shame on me 🙈) and put them in the oven.

So that's my favorite dish. I simply love it, you should try it too.

To be honest, I do not know Chili con Carne, but when I heard that my mouth is very watering already. I love chili. Most of my food, I always add chili. Your food look great @btcsam. Hi @chanthasam :)
Here's my entry to your #foodchallenge.
IMG_20171016_202455_386.jpg

I'm proud to present my fries with ground pork and mayonnaise.

Actually, I'm really craving on eating fries that time and yes! Craving solved. The feeling that I want to give the fries a twist and I want to make it very presentable for myself. Haha
Well, enough for that. I will now share to you how I made it. Firstly, you need to deep fry the fries and wait until it's totally cooked. Secondly, after frying the fries, we need to saute the ground pork then add salt and a little amount of sugar for the flavor. Lastly, mix mayonnaise and ketchup and wait until the color turns pink.
All I can say about the result is very satisfying. Yum yum :)

Wow, That looks very delicious. I wish I could taste it in real. I feel like, I have seen this food before ! haha I think, I just have a dream. Thanks @kimmoi18 for joining this foodchallenge. Please do not to forget to upvote and resteem this post challenge. Thanks and greeting from @chanthasam

yummyyy

Yes, when you see all this amazing food from differents countries like this. Your mouth always keep watering. That what I am having the whole week already @bley47

indeed! I’m getting hungry now!

My fabourite food is chiken kababs.

Kebabs (also kabobs or kababs) are various cooked meat dishes, with their origins in Middle Eastern cuisine. Many variants are popular throughout Asia, and around the world.

In Indian English[1] and in the languages of the Middle East, other parts of Asia, and the Muslim world, kebab is a broad term covering a wide variety of grilled meat dishes.[2] Although kebabs are often cooked on a skewer, many types of kebab are not.[3] Kebab dishes can consist of cut up or ground meat or seafood, sometimes with fruits and vegetables; cooked on a skewer over a fire, or like a hamburger on a grill, baked in a pan in an oven, or as a stew; and served with various accompaniments according to each recipe. The traditional meat for kebabs is most often mutton or lamb, but regional recipes may include beef, goat, chicken, fish, or more rarely due to religious prohibitions, pork.

)

In most majority English-speaking countries, two of the most prevalent and familiar kebab dishes are shish kebab and doner kebab. Either of these are often simply referred to as a "kebab" in English.

Here's my entry for the #foodchallenge.

This is the ever so delicious Marinated Grilled Pork Belly with Basmati fried rice and Salad.

Prep:

The meat is marinated a day before in various spices and special sauce so that it goes deep into the meat and makes it succulent. The next day it is roasted in a charcoal grill so that the meat is tender and the fat bit is crunchy on the outside and super juicy in the inside. It literally melts in your mouth. It's topped with Red Onions, Coriander, Spring Onions and a small squee of lime for that little tangy kick.

The rice is fried in Ghee (Clarified butter) along with finely chopped red onions and carrots and few green peas. As it's cooked in Ghee, it has a beautiful aroma that awakens your senses as soon as you smell it.

And served with a some salad.

Ok, as I'm writing this.. it's making me hungry. So, I'm gonna get some food.

Goodluck to everyone participating! :)

IMG_20180311_230029_891.jpg

Here is my entry for this contest @chanthasm :) I made this easy creme brulee at home some days ago. Creme brulee is cream custard with sugar caramelized on top of the custard. I believe it is a French word. I used to think it cannot be homemade because I do not have a blowtorch at home but this recipe has proven me wrong.

It is easy because it only requires four ingredients: 400ml whipping cream, 5 egg yolks, 1 tablespoon vanilla extract and 1/2 cup castor sugar.

First, whisk all of the four ingredients above with a whisk or a fork. Make sure they are all thoroughly mixed. Then sieve the whole mixture to ensure smooth texture of the custard.

Preheat oven and prepare four ramicans in a baking tray. Scoop mixture into the ramicans and fill water around the ramicans in the baking tray up to the middle level of the ramicans to create a water bath.

Bake at 250C for 30 minutes and use the toothpick to check if the mixture sticks to the toothpick. If it does, bake a little longer and repeat the checking all the way till 45 minutes. This is to prevent the top layer from being burnt because there is sugar content.

After the custard is cooked, spread some castor sugar on the top surface of the custard and put the ramicans back into the water bath in the baking tray and let it brown for roughly one minute or so. Keep your eyes on it to prevent it from being charred.

Tadaaaaaa, that's it! Hope you enjoy the simple recipe.

I actually made a detailed post on it hereif you are interested, thanks!

Wow, Your creme brulee looks hot and delicous. I never heard of this recipe. I would love to try it one time. Thanks for joining the foodchallenge. Please do not forget to resteem and upvote this post. Thanks and greeting from @chanthasam

This meal is very tasty, but when you eat this food, it becomes very thick

There's something about a bubbly melty crock of french onion soup that warms my insides, even when I'm not eating it. I feel that I'm always craving it, something about the saltiness of the broth, the sweet of the onions, the crunch of the toasted baguette, the stringiness of the cheese.. it all comes together to create a savory mix of flavors and textures that can't be beat on a cold winter day. Luckily, it is EXTREMELY easy to make, just requires some time to render all the flavor out of the ingredients.

The key to a good french onion soup is to caramelize your onions low and slow for a LONG time. You want them to be deep brown in color, but not burnt, and completely soft and melty. In another pot, you'll want to sear some beef bones with onions, garlic, thyme and bay leaves, deglaze with water and some red wine, and let the broth-to-be simmer for an hour or two, then strain.

Once you have the rich caramelized onions and deeply beef-flavored broth, you can THEN combine the two, ladle into your oven-safe crock, top with a slice or two of a toasted french baguette, cover in shredded gruyere, and broil until the cheese starts bubbling and freckling. Top with chives to get one last level of onion flavor into the soup and enjoy!
