Infact, the Katsu part of the name comes from the sauce used - tonkatsu, which is a thick Japanese pureed fruit based brown sauce which is served atop the breaded chicken (or pork).

Here, we have some elements of Korean with the Kimchi, but if you look closely, you'll also find Edamame beans, long stem broccoli, boiled egg, and seasoned rice.
