Bad reputation and a halo of mystery surround hot dogs. Whether it’s for the meat or the preservatives used, hot dogs have been in the center of the public eye over and over again. Still, who can say, in good conscience, that they haven’t been happy to their very core while eating a hot dog? Even though hot-dogs have been attacked many times, they remain one of the cornerstones of American foodie culture. So, I say it’s time to give hot dogs the place they deserve in our hearts and our kitchens!
