Ingredients
Chicken Marination

1 1/2 kg chicken cut into large pieces
2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
2 tbsp red chili powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
as per taste salt
1 bunch mint leaves
7 - 8 green chillies
1 tsp cumin or white zeera
3 - 4 cloves(loung)
2 cinnamon sticks(dalchini)
3 - 4 black cardamoms(elaichi)
3 - 4 black pepper corns(kali mirch)
2 cups fried golden brown onions
2 cups yogurt
1 tbsp oil
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp garam masala powder

For the Rice

for boiling Water
1 kg Basmati rice / Saila Rice
2-3 cloves (loung)
1 cinnamon stick(dalchini)
2-3 black cardamoms(elaichi)
1 tsp white cumin
2 - 3 black pepper corns(kali mirch)
1 tbsp lemon juice
to taste salt

For Dum Seasoning:

2 tbsp oil
2 tbsp coriander leaves
2 tbsp fried onions
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 cup  milk
1 tbsp ghee
1 cup water
2 tbsp kewra
as required Yellow colo
