When I got so inquisitive about bread making, this was my first bread I baked and he'll yeah it was making. All my friends kept asking me to make bread for them and they started visiting me often lolz 😂. Hell yeah I was so very happy and impressed with the results I got, so am going to share my recipe with you guys.
INGREDIENTS:
3 cups of flour.
5 table spoons butter.
1 cup sugar.
3 table spoons vanilla.
half tea spoon nutmeg.
1 tea spoon yeast.
1 cup water.
Half cup liquid milk(half of a liquid milk tin).
2 eggs.
A pinch of salt.
STEP 1.
Proof yeast( put 10 table spoons of water in a cup, add 1 spoon of sugar stir well. Add yeast., the yeast feeds on the sugar and multiplies, close cup with a lid or cling film and put in a dark place, your cupboard would work best. Yeast strives best in a warm and dark area).STEP2.
Put 2 and half cups of flour in a large bowl,sugar,nutmeg,pinch of salt. Melt butter in a double boiler(put buyer in a bowl, boil some water and put the bowl of butter in the boiling water, allow it to melt. Or boil some water take it off the friend put the bowl of butter in it, stir till it all melts). Crack your eggs and beat for 20sec.STEP3.
Make a well in the middle of the dried ingredients, pour in your proof yeast, liquid milk, vanilla flavor,eggs(leave a very little part of the egg so you could use it for the top of the bread to give it a good shine), melted butter and half a cup of water mix well till all the flour disappears add some water if needed. Keep kneading for 5minuts. The dough should b all together, not strong but soft(if dough is to dry the bread would b strong).STEP4:
but the dough in the bowl used in melting the butter, roll the dough around so it's covered in oil( these would make it easier for you to bring it out and it won't stick) cover with a cling film and let proof for 15minuts or till it doubles in size.

Now this is where the hard work comes.
Bring dough out of the bowl,punch it down to let the air escape. Flour your work surface and knead dough for 10minuts. Keep kneading (you could take some rest). Add little flour while kneading not to much else you'll ruin it. You have to knead till the dough doesn't stick to your work surface any more and you can poke a finger in the dough and it fills up almost immediately that's when you know when the dough is ready. Round the dough and poke your finger in it, it has to fill up or bounce back to the way it was, the hole you mad has to fill back up.
STEp5.
Preheat the oven /pot for 10minuts. Grease pan very well and dust it. Put the dough in the pan, close with a bowl and allow it to rise for 5minuts then bake for 25minuts on mid high heat then brush the bread with the left over egg to give it a shine, the continue baking for another 10minuts. Poke a tooth pick if it's clean your bread is ready. Allow to cool down then you can devour it.. 😍. ENJOY 😘.
