Pinoy has a unique taste buds when it comes to foodie. Filipino "Ulam", or Filipino Dish has finally been introduce to local and to foreign countries by Balikbayans and OFW (Overseas Foreign Workers) or people working abroad.

The loneliness and homesickness is a curse that sometimes lead to depression and sometimes is a way from diverting the longing through their empty stomach by eating Filipino Foods.

There are lots of Philipppine Cuisine restaurants or even stalls offering authentic pinoy dish just not to deprived the PINOYS stomach.

This time, I cooked something for them just to give salute or tribute to those PINOYS and PINAYS who actually sacrificing themselves to take risks, to chaste their dreams and to make a better future ahead.

The picture shown above is the Authentic "Inun-unan" in Cebu and best define as "Paksiw", in Tagalog. It is simply cooked in vinegar and garlic. Best accompanied by vegetables like string beans, biter melon and eggplant.

For better look. Here's the normal size photo
