These Strawberries with Cream are a decay for me. You might think that after eating an abundant meal like a Colombian tamal or a paisa tray it would be impossible to find space to eat something else. However, I can never refuse a glass full of fresh strawberries with cream and sprinkled with condensed milk.
Ingredients
3 cups of fresh strawberries, washed and cut in half
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 tablespoons of sugar or to taste
3 cups of milk cream
Condensed milk (optional)
Preparation
In a bowl, using a blender, combine the heavy cream, heavy cream, vanilla and sugar.
Beat in medium-high speed until soft peaks form and the cream thickens.
Use glasses or cups, make layers using strawberries and cream (ie: a layer of strawberries, then a layer of cream, and so on). Sprinkle with condensed milk, if desired, and serve immediately.
