This morning i was preparing like i normally do on a Wednesday and get ready for college so i made my way to college like i would do taking bus and train (i have passed my test just raising the money to get a car very egar to get on the roads). As i was saying i got to college and my teacher said he wanted to speak to me he said "I've just got a call, you are in the 23s squad today you are getting picked up at 11am" baring in mind i have no tracksuit on me and my boots are at my house.
So i had to ring my uncle who is also on steemit @notdavemate to ask if he could go to my house and get my bag which had all my gear in. ive gotten to the training ground and the rain was pouring down i was on the bench so i was doing my warm up and the game got underway throughout the game the rain was coming down very heavy so it was inevitable that the game was going to get called off and during the first half it did get called off.
Being on the bench you could guess how wet i was it was that bad that my boots filled up with water.
The positive is that i got a day off college and i was bought into the squad.
