Today marks the 2nd match day of the Philippines Football League. Things will be great today as three matches will happen in different playing venues. While there were teams who didn't secure a home field probably because of the league's infancy (starting) but things are getting finalized for some teams. The home-and-away matches will be complete soon and I'm looking forward for Philippine Air Force FC to land a home Stadium in Cebu.
The fixture today will host three matches. Stallion Laguna FC will face Kaya Iloilo FC at Stallion's home Biñan Football Stadium at 3:30 p.m. The second match will be the defending champions Ceres Negros FC against a former powerhouse Philippine Air Force FC and the final match will be Green Archers United FC versus Global Cebu FC. Both matches will be played in Rizal Memorial Football Stadium as some teams haven't had their home stadiums.
Philippines Football League FB PageWe have noticed that Mendiola FC still hasn't played a single game when in fact other teams are already playing their second game. We have some speculations that there are still documents and other important things Mendiola is finalizing before they are allowed to play. But we are keen to see them first in action probably on Game 3 of the league.
