Davy Klaasen has finished his year-long dull existence at Goodison Park as Dutch midfielder finally been allowed to leave club and signed a deal with Werder. Signed by Ronald Koeman, who was sacked 2 months later, he completely failed to have any chance to prove himself under Sam Allardyce and made only 7 EPL appearances, coming on late substitute. Signed from Ajax for £23,6 million Davy lost half of his transfer price during the year of stagnation (250 minutes of legue football in 12 months) but new Toffees manager Marco Silva finally agreed to sell Klaasen to Bremen for £13,5 million.

Must be huge relief for the lad! We’re quite sure about great future in from of this tough and physically equipped midfielder.
