Dutch legend Robin Van Persie once again proved his evergreen football talent as well as his reputation of natural born tough guy. The ex - Arsenal star did well to help his side Feyenoord to secure a 2:1 home win against whites in the 7th tour of the Eredivisie regular championship. The visitors scored took the lead on the 32nd minutes, but Feyenoord leveled the score later in the game. On the 88th minute home side was awarded with a free kick that was perfectly converted into the goal by RVP and his stunning left foot. But 2 minutes later 35-year-old striker saw straight for brutal tackle in an attempt to intercept a ball on own half. That guy is a real fighter, isn’t he?

  • Van Persie returned to Feyenoord in January 2018, 20 years after his first arrival at the club’s academy
  • He scored 10 goals in Eredivisie 18 games in 2018
