Volgar Astrakhan defender Roman Loktionov became a hero of PFL (which is Russia’s Third Division) clash against Spartak Vladikavlaz by netting a winning goal.

Under the sort of mystical circumstances, the free kick Roman scored later was found a 100% copycat goal of his own belter, scored no less than 7 years ago. The set of coincidences is pretty impressive – the venue, the opposing side, the trajectory, the distance, even the woodwork – they’re all the same. The video comparison was later uploaded via the club's Instagtam account.

The mystical aspect of these goals – both were scored on the 17th minute. Both are winning goals. Ever heard of deja vu? Matrix? Geez, that's creepy… Great shot, though!

  • Roman Loktionov is doing great for Volgar, scoring 4 goals in 5 games of current season
  • Volgar go 3rd in the Southern Conference of their division, 6 points behind the leader Urozhai
