  1. The article is clearly pro-Biden and anti-McCarthy. I've noticed Forbes' leftist tilt for a while, but am unsure about when it began.

  2. McCarthy is a hypocrite and uninterested in following the very norms he previously championed, but that's today's GOP - wholly anti-conservative in its hatred of long-standing governance norms.

  3. The rabid GOP lust for impeachment of Biden is so obviously nothing more than payback for impeaching Trump that I'm surprised they make any pretense that it's not.

  4. Any impeachment, however well justified, will lead to exoneration in a Democratic-controlled Senate, as a matter of politics, not principle.

  5. Anyone still believing impeachment is a serious constitutional solution to misbehaving presidencies hasn't followed America's political development post-Nixon.

  6. The Republicans should continue to investigate whether Biden was involved in his son's business dealings. They won't investigate with any semblance of integrity, and nothing they find could possibly lead to Democrats agreeing to put Biden out to pasture, but it needs to be done anyway so we can uncover any corruption that's there. If a dishonest politically-motivated investigation can't turn up anything solid, there's probably nothing there, but what's turned up so far is suspicious enough to continue investigating.

  7. If Christians were right that God cares about America, we could expect to see both parties' leading 2024 presidential contenders pass away in the next few months.
