The automobile sector might be the most interesting one there is right now.
A week after General Motors announced it's restructuring plan, Ford came out with one of it's own.
GM caught the ire of President Trump when they announced plans to lay off about 17,000 workers. This goes against the President's push to bring manufacturing jobs back to the United States.
Ford's announcement comes on a day when automobile stocks are flying at the prospect of China easing the tariffs on American made cars. This is a result of a meeting between Trump and Xi at the G20.
Now Ford might find itself on the President's tweet list. Their restructuring could include 25,000 job cuts.
