This is the corporate/government complex... a big company planning to perform oppressive acts against its customers with the blessing of government.
I predict Ford will lose a noticeable amount of sales when (not if) they implement this technology, and the sales they lose will be people with GOOD credit who are annoyed in principle.
All car companies will adopt this in time. But the one who goes first will pay a price. Ford seems primed to be that company.
