So this topic will be a monumental challenge and a real eye opener to most people in the Western world, not because of its surprising content but because of all the unrecognized ideological shackles we have allowed into our hearts and minds under good intentions but for the wrong reasons. We want to do good, we do not want to be judged by our fellow men and most of all we do not want hate and bigotry to prevail in the world over love and compassion. And - well, certain areas of inquiry are never really approached without prejudice even by the most open-minded people, precisely because those areas of inquiry seem to be too "problematic" from afar, they seem dangerous, forbidden or somehow tainted - long before we ever actually find out what is behind all the noise and fear surrounding certain issues and areas of investigation.
Ironically and sadly, we often confuse labels with intention and we are all too often led astray because we trust other people more than ourselves, our institutions more than our hearts and our cultural narratives more than our own discernment.
In the spirit of looking behind the facade it has always been my mission to offer content and puzzle pieces that have the potential to shed light where it is most needed, and to let every one of you make up your own mind about what is presented. If you truly want to hear about something that might turn out to be a major puzzle piece for understanding our world today and if you can find it in your heart to give me the benefit of the doubt for a few minutes - this article has been written for you <3
What in the world are you getting at?
You see, I have grown up in Germany with all the ins and outs of its modern culture and way of thinking. And there is literally no other topic as shunned and barred from open inquiry, discussion and calm analysis as our cultural heritage, our ancestors and our past as a society.
All we ever learn about in school is how our ancestors have basically been stupid barbarians for a very long time until the Romans came to bring the gifts of civilization and cultural riches to our lands. That and - of course - how our immediate ancestors of a few generations past have been the most evil people ever to walk the Earth; a narrative anyone will be familiar with who has ever watched a documentary on the 20th century and its cruelties.
But you see, this is precisely the point - there is this notion that there really is no past worth speaking of before the Romans came, at all! Everything beyond the middle ages is somehow treated as too obscure and irrelevant and I distinctly remember how boring our history lessons in school were when it came to these periods in the history of the European nations.
But what if there was an actual story behind this murky veil of history waiting to be discovered? What if there were certain taboos enforced by overemphasizing the immediate historical narrative that has been given to the Western world in recent decades and centuries while slowly erasing all traces of what came before?
This is a story about censorship in our modern era, a story about how - under the guise of protecting the innocent and being a virtuous caring individual - we are forbidden to explore beyond the confines of our contemporary ideologies that govern our politics, society and thus our view on the world at large.
Ideological fences and prohibitions always exist for a reason... because they tend to work with most people, preventing them to take a closer look at less prominent aspects of our human story.
An attempt at saving knowledge
One day I stumbled upon an interview on youtube that has really hit me like nothing had for the longest time. I had neither cared to look into the Europeans' history nor did I ever think there would be something there worth digging up, beyond everything I had picked up in school like the Crusades or - say - the founding of America. But as so often, I was wrong - the moment I discovered this interview with Stephen E. Flowers my intuition was telling me there was something majorly important here to be found. By the first third of the interview I was getting goosebumps and by the second half I was stunned to realize I was literally crying tears of... liberation and resonance about what I heard but had never heard put quite in this way before. The experience was that profound hearing about the old conceptions of humanity's purpose and mission on Earth and the way it was handed down! I am in fact crying now listening again, it has lost nothing of its potency in reconsidering our human role on Earth and our daily choices.
If you consider intuition to be something important then I can tell you that my intuition has rarely commanded me to listen so intently than when I first heard this man talk about the topic of the "Proto-Indo-European religion" and their beliefs that long preceded the Romans and the times of the church, and what it has to do with all of us and our general view on the world today.
Stephen Flowers is a studied academic, author and researcher of pre-Christian myth and tradition to put it very bluntly. He speaks several European languages and dialects, has studied runes and ancient magic as well as teachings that most truthseekers would describe as "occult" or even "suspect" today. But the moment you hear him speak you hear a man who isn't only knowledgeable about areas most people have never considered important, but you'll also hear that he cares deeply for humanity at large, for finding our own center again and for enabling a society of insight and understanding that fosters peace and knowledge among human beings, instead of suspicion and hatred.
Most importantly there is a tremendous sense of healing that accompanies learning about the old ways - full of wisdom, purpose and drive to live a fullfilled life in accord with divine principles, to fight for good and to know about one's place in the cosmos acoording to our ancestors' beliefs. When I first heard about these ancient notions in this interview I could not help but being moved greatly, it felt like something was liberated inside of me that always waited to be rediscovered, considered and said by someone... Everybody wants to live a life full of happiness and purpose but somehow we feel cut off...
What if there actually is a reason for that feeling of futility many people have today and what if we rediscovered a different way of looking at the world - like our ancestors did in ages long ago? Could it be that simple?
Proto-Indo-what?
I don't even want to make the attempt of relaying what Flowers speaks about in this interview, precisely because there is a certain quality in this conversation that is invaluable to absorb when exploring this most topic through the lens of someone who has studied it for decades. If you have read this far and are curious I wholeheartedly recommend setting aside an hour to listen to this yourself, and to base your initial reaction on the full interview (or at least part 1 of it) rather than on my feeble atttempts of summarizing what Flowers is getting at and what the implications are. Let's just say the ramifications of these considerations are profound and will certainly cause massive motivation to continue digging on your own, provided you don't fall prey to our aforementioned societal conditioning in succumbing to fear of the supposedly known before the man gets to the point...
Suffice it to say there is ample historical evidence and a profound heritage in looking at life and the cosmos that most of us have never heard about, a tradition that points to a human existence long before the times that most of our history books so vehemently focus on. A history with so much detail and potential to transform our understanding of humanity's situation and challenges today that it's an outright crime I have to write this lengthy introduction to this topic just to avoid scaring people away because of deep-seated conditioning. The ramifications of this information are staggering, I promise.
One last primer
I really hate to keep you waiting but there is one last essential idea to get across before we cut to the chase here and that is the confusion and irritation caused by ideas and conceptions that are best described as "politically correct". The notion of political correctness and the resulting taboo-areas of inquiry have everything to do with this topic and are essential to consider.
How did the lovely Lindybeige put it so eloquently in his 2 minute video? An idea is politically correct - likely because it's not actually correct.
Alright then, let's goooooo!
If you are at all part of what we call "the Western world" today, if you have ancestors who were part of the Western world or if your life is at all impacted by taboos, censorship or modern conceptions of human progress... you will want to hear this man out, at least once.
I will link the interview in full here, as someone has been so amazing as to post both parts on youtube for everyone to consider.
If you don't have an hour right now put it away for later, it's one of those dialogues that really benefit from you being completely present rather than listening while doing something else.
So, without further ado, here is the gentleman with the unlucky photo but a message that has opened enormous doors for me. Hope you'll feel the same way - if you do, won't you let me know in the comments how you feel after hearing this interview? I really am curious about your perception and what you may have already dug up on this. All links, comments and resources are welcome in the comments section as long as they are genuine and come from the heart.
Please do start with part 1.
Part 1: Stephen E. Flowers - Restoring the #Indo-European Religion
However you feel about this topic I want to thank you for your time and open ear today, it does mean the world to me and I have been wanting to get this interview out to you all forever! As always the recommendation: Believe nothing but understand as much as you can.
May we all find our way in these times of confusion and censorship so that we may better understand our own life, our roots and what it may mean to be a feeling & breathing human being on this Earth as opposed to what the vast majority of people believe today.

It’s a very interesting interview. Some of Flowers’ observations make me wonder if none of the modern religions are pure, seeing as how they bleed into one another. Men and organizations of men will always use religion as a tool to subject the minds of the people, similar to how government, the new religion, handles itself today. I may have to dig up more of his talks and interviews or whatnot to see what his most powerful conclusions are. Or maybe his dissertation on runes and magic or what he concludes magic is, outside of the mystical elements. It seems to me people were much more vulnerable to deception back in the day, and what they perceived as magic, was not. So much ground covered, it is difficult for me to home in on the parts you found most profound.

Thank you for sharing your perception. This interview is a most broad introduction to the concepts Flowers has studied and I find I am barely scratching the surface myself. Still unsure about his most powerful conclusions but I am digging here as well since writing about this has revived my curiosity greatly.
I agree, there is a certain scent to the way empire operates in all its facets - the similarities among seemingly unconnected topics are uncanny. It really is all part of the same strategy to subvert the self-determination of the people on Earth through indoctrination and forced conformity to empire in all aspects of life.
Am currently listening to one of his talks on tribalism and retribalism that goes deeper into how tribes were formed in the ancient times, where they derived their strength from (voluntary oaths & loyalty to the word over "cultural" ties and politics) and how many of the "germanic" tribes eventually went on to found their own domains, like the saxons did "anglo saxony" and the franks did "france". I am amazed to find once again how little I seem to know about the past, as so often...
Wanted to add this talk here in the comments just now and I think it fits well here. Talk starts at 4:05
Thanks again for your support and feedback, it means a lot to me

Rather flabbergasted to find out the man has written books on satanism and mentions many notions in other interviews that dissonate with my current understanding. Either his studies of the left hand path differ from mine or I got the wrong idea about what it is. More research warranted for sure, this will surely spark more articles

More on the Iranian Germanic historic connection and the worldview of #Zoroastrianism:
Isn't it also curious how Iran suddenly seems to pop up out of nowhere as one of the remaining places on Earth allegedly being labelled "enemy of the West?"

I love history. So, I believe in looking at hidden history. The Roman Catholic Church and Islamic Countries have been burning books, a lot of history, artifacts, and a lot of things, all around the world, for many centuries or maybe even longer than that. So, some religions have been a threat to humanity in a variety of ways. I'm listening to the Red Ice TV interview with Flowers right now. I'm going to be thinking about that. Thanks for all of this. Upvoted. Resteemed.
