Das Infinity Blade schwert schaffte es gerade mal vier Tage im Spiel zu sein, danach wurde es con Epic Game sofort wieder rausgenommen. Der Grund dafür war, das das Schwert viel zu mächtig für das Spiel war. Die Folge dauraus waren das es die Balance von dem Spiel zerstörte und es bei einem Turnier mit einem Preisgeld in höhe von einer Millionen Dollar ein Chaos gab. Das Schwert wurde daraufhin aus dem Spiel Entfernt und Epic Games sagte dazu: Wir habens vermasselt.
Doch nun kam das unerwartete Schwert ist zurück im Spiel. Man kann das Schwert aber nicht in normalen Battle-Royal Runden finden sondern in einem Modus namens Schwertkampf. Dieser Modus ist aber zeitlich begrenzt. So funktioniert es: Ihr seid in einem 4 team auch squad genannt und müsst in Truhen die Schwerter finden, von den Schwertern gibt es mehrere..
