Dulu daging rendang ini cuma di masak pada hari tertentu saja seperti hari Mak meugang, hari lebaran, sedangkan sekarang daging rendang ini setiap rumah makan yang ada di Aceh hampir semua ada, karena peminat daging rendang Aceh terus meningkat, bahkan setiap acara pesta pernikahan orang Aceh pasti ada daging rendang, daging rendang yang terbuat dari bumbu2nya seperti, cabe merah dan cabe rawit, langkuas, sere, daun salam dan jeruk, bawang putih dan bawang merah, santan, garam, jeruk nipis, inilah bumbu-bumbunya yang membuat rasa daging rendang Mak yussss dan ketagihan, by chef irsan Jordan.
