Last gameweek saw so many goals scored, starting from the game against Arsenal and Liverpool which ended 3-3 and saw 6 different players score all 6 goals. My captain, Mohammed Salah bagged a goal and an assist in that game alongside Firmino also. This gameweek, Liverpool will play host to Swansea and I expect the Reds to come out once again, firing on all cylinders, this is the reason why I'm once again keeping faith in Mohammed Salah as my captain while keeping Harry Kane for some other time. I really hope my gamble will pay off this time.

My only transfer in this week sees me make like for like substitution, bringing in the in-form Raheem Sterling for his teammate Leroy Sane. I had hoped Sane will start banging in the goals after his return to the first team, but the best he has gotten so far are a couple of assists while his fellow teammate keeps the goals coming and earning more points for my competitors. So I reasoned, if you can't beat them, you join them, which is what I just did. I'm hoping he continues his fine goalscoring form when they travel to play Newcastle.

Manchester United, on the back of a disappointing draw against Leicester City will not be looking forward to a game against Burnley with last season's performance still fresh in their memory. A game which saw them play 36 shots on target without scoring any goal. they will take consolation in the fact that the then Burnley goalkeeper Tom Heaton is currently injured coupled with a few first choice center backs, so the Red Devils should fancy their chances of getting maximum points in this game or rue their chances of dropping points in 3 successive games.

In my humble opinion, I feel that the game against Tottenham and Southampton is going to be a difficult one for Tottenham to maneuver, but not forgetting the ease with which they dispersed Burnley, they just might surprise us and win the Saints easily also. Watford at home to Leicester is also a difficult one to call, but I see Watford edging out Leicester by a slim margin and Richarlison getting a few points in this game. in another game on boxing day, Chelsea plays host to Brighton. This is the time to bring in Morata because he has missed out of the goalscoring action for a while now and would be eager to get back to his goalscoring ways. I also see Hazard picking up points in this game, he finds it easier playing alongside Morata upfront rather than being tasked with the sole responsibility.
Arsenal travels to in-form Crystal Palace in the London derby on the 27. Roy Hodgson's men have been in good form ever since he took charge of them a couple of weeks back. Wilfred Zaha, Benteke and Loftus-cheek have all stepped up their games and have began banging in goals and playing with the confidence of an EPL side. This game will definitely not be a walk-over for the Gunners and I see them conceding a few goals though they might end up not losing. I also have a feeling Lacazette will get on the score sheet in this one.

I have added another mini-league to my posts, and I will be talking about 'Fantasizers' in my Gameweek Recap, while I will be talking about 'Official WTS League' in my Gameweek Preview. The Official WTS League consists of over 70 players but i will be featuring the top 20 every week, well, until I drop below the top 20, which I don't see ever happening as I am currently in the top 3. My number 1 nemesis from Fantasizers, Team Ifedayo FPL is also here to taunt me once again.....Aaaargh!!!

No player from Arsenal?

Lol, yh I sometimes ask myself that qustion. But to be fair, I did give them a chance. started with Kolasinac, then he became a bench player, played Lacazette, but he doesnt get enough playing time, and Arsenal's midfield is just too inconsistent to bank on. In the coming days, I might try to integrate an Arsenal player into my team.
Thanks for dropping by.

ummm Being a madridista i have a special feeling for assist master Ozil. Hope he get in your team soon :)
