His Banquet

I have seen the greatest of mountains fall on its kneels
I have witnessed the mighty fall of great kings
I have seen 'failure' sworn never to win , the
Lost and the worse of broken wings
But I have never seen such a brave heart as that
Of my 'love' and 'sweet'.

He reminds me of David with Goliath slain at his feet
Of pharaoh and his accomplices blown away by the red sea
He reminds me of Samson's heavenly gift
And Shadrach's, Meshach's and Abednego's unwavering faith.

In the confinement of his love I am safe
When am lost he comes to save
With eyes brighter than the sun, like an angel airborne,
He takes my breath away and makes me born again.

On his bravery I lay my head to rest
Guarded by his love's armory I fear no distress
So many has fallen to his mighty conquest
Nonetheless, am the luckiest to be in his banquet.
