They say what does not kill us makes us stronger. This I will refer to the "C" word along my journey. Hearing the"C" word off Military Base in civillian society at very young age was basically preparing my Armor both mentally, physically, and spiritually. As the new kid on the block living off base and attending public elementary school was a culture shock before the 21st century. Our nieghborhood was not fancy or all that terrible. Pretty much Middle Class at the time. Some parts had what some would call a few bad apples, but generally mostly good. Just like any kid regardless of color or religion or language, fitting in the civillian society was not going to be easy. I remember these bad events as if it was yesterday. My funky haircut, my not so cool clothes, my poor vision, and poor comprehension took longer for me to understand and adjust. The abuse being bullied, called names, getting into fights was very tramatic. The Incredible Hulk was nothing compared to what I experienced while being awake in the so called real world. Just like most young kids who are scared or ashamed to tell their parents, this abuse continued for some time. My younger brother on the other hand looked a bit different from me so he did not experience the same abuse as I did. Whats funny I always remember adults telling my younger brother and I that we look almost the same, and smiled? More on that later on. I now get this phobia feeling in my body like I am being attacked from the inside weakening mentally and physically when I am around people in public. Like Spidey Senses danger I start and prepare to mentally put up a wall and physically clinch my fist while being very aware of my surroundings. Of course I experienced much more but lets continue the story on a better foot tomorrow...

I just read your well written story. Do you mind if I give you a few tips that will make it even better and attract more people to your good writing?
1.) put more spaces in your story by breaking it into paragraphs. That way there will not be just a wall of text and it makes it more pleasing to the eye.
2.) if you think that it fits put a few titles and sub-titles.
3.) if you want certain words to stick out, like "bullied" for example, you can make them bold or italic.
4.) put at least one image in your story. This shows up as a thumbnail before anyone clicks on your article. You can get free images at pixabay.com. You can upload the image to postimage.io
5.) have you joined Steemit.chat ? You can advertise your article there for free and get more votes. You can also private message me there if you need help.

This is my first time writing or on social media or blogging. I have tons to express, so I personally welcome you to follow me as I start to share. My skills need a lot of polishing and Thank You Sir for your brave concern and willingness to help. So no I dont mind any tips about my writing. I do have to admit, because of my experiences I am cautious and a bit paranoid. As I continue to write and adapt slowly in my blogs, a much better ending should be satisfactory. Please bare with me because I dont want to spoil this journey for my family or friends who one day will be able to see how it all began. Confessing I am using a seperate tablet\mobile device not connected to a personal PC. So lack of proper punctuation or usage of bold or italics is because my two thumbs can only do so much, lol. Eventually I should be making rough drafts, that way I dont feel pressured to hit the POST tab so I dont loose my free thoughts. I dont mind editing them after its saved. Just started a few weeks ago using the steemit platform and having a grand experience. As I continue my journey I will upgrade to a laptop and possibly advertise on Steemit.chat
