Faith in Jesus: He gave his life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, and to make us his very own people

Lord Jesus, "the son of man", came into the world with a spiritual mission, to free men from the slavery of sin and to give them a new life, the true life that once is won cannot be lost, that is why it is eternal life. The spiritual gift of eternal life is, in essence, the worship or devotion of wisdom, because God is the wisdom itself, wisdom is the most perfect spiritual good that exists.
And this eternal life, freely given by the mercy (compassion) of our Lord Jesus, is the salvation of man, the fullness of spiritual goods in man: "For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say ´No´ to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age" Titus 2:11-12.
Sin dominates us, because if we love money, how much money is enough to be happy? Jesus himself explained: "Everyone who sins is a slave to sin" John 8:34; also the apostle Peter said: "They promise freedom, but they themselves are slaves of sin and corruption. For you are a slave to whatever controls you", 2 Peter 2:19.
Jesus gave his life to free us from this limitation that is the error, and give us a new heart towards God through baptism and justification, so that we can be his brothers and people of God: "He gave his life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, and to make us his very own people, totally committed to doing good deeds" Titus 2:14.
The Kingdom of Jesus is an invitation towards a new life like the one Jesus does to the disciples when he calls them, and not an obligation like the law of Moses, as free people we decide if we want to accept this invitation, the creator of all things offers us his spiritual gifts to live them, his righteousness, his piety (devotion, constancy, firmness); we choose between light and darkness.
