What about PETA?

While we're talking about banning pages on social media for "fuelling violence" can we take a moment to talk about PETA?

When people use the phrase "fuelling violence," they're pretty much invariably stretching their concerns to include any speech which could plausibly inspire somebody to resort to physical violence. If we're gonna talk about punching Nazis, PETA's Holocaust on your Plate campaign which juxtaposed livestock farms with images of concentration camps during the Holocaust is more than a plausible fuel for violence against people, say, like me. I eat meat and I have a leather jacket.

But, with PETA, it's not even a matter of what's plausible. We've already seen decades of domestic terrorism inspired by PETA. PETA doesn't just inspire domestic terrorism either; PETA is actually financially connected to domestic terrorists.

Again, I'm not supporting silencing PETA's speech. I'm just asking for something resembling moral consistency from people.
