There is live footage of electoral college voters today on YouTube. The disclaimer at the bottom reads "The electors have cast their ballots for Joe Biden on December 8th 2020." So all of a sudden Google can time travel. I suppose it's better than the previous message which read "The AP has called the election for Joe Biden," as if the media has the authority to do such things.
The legacy tech troughs have completely ridiculous today (more so that usual). I have multiple Twitter accounts and they are each telling me that my functionality has been limited and I need to complete a CAPTCHA to log back in. I've basically completely divorced myself from the legacy social media, instead focusing on Steemit, Minds, and Odysee. I find the fact that people are flustered over sweeping changes to YouTube, FaceBook, etc. more comical than anything. It's like in the cartoons when the dam is about to break and the characters keep plugging the holes with anything they can find.
The Gestapo level censorship tactics are astonishing. I had a friend get banned from Twitter for simply posting peer reviewed, publicly available scientific studies, with no comment or spin. For me, getting banned from any of the legacy platforms would be like a five-year-old saying I'm not allowed in his treehouse. But at this point, I'm very grateful to have platforms like Steemit and Minds for which to seek refuge and provide a beacon of sanity in this quickly disintegrating clown world.
