If you understand that freedom has never been given, then you will realize that freedom does come at a price. Simply put, freedom comes with self-disciple. Discipline comes with difficulty. The difficulty comes with self-understanding. When you know yourself you will know who you can or cannot be. You will understand that your freedom isn’t contingent upon anything other than how you work with yourself mentally. If you are your own best friend, it frees up your mind to adopt other spiritual tasks which reward you with more mental space to run. But if you hate yourself, then you are stuck working against your own mind and spirit, therefore, have actually very little free time mentally. Any freedom you do have is eaten up by worry, disbelief, self-hatred, and self-doubt.
These don’t allow you to be free because they convince you that you are lesser than. They allow you no real respite and instead restructure time to use it against yourself. True freedom can only be approached once you have befriended your own mind. It may seem simple, but a house divided will always fall. Work with your spirit and it will show you the way to freedom. Work against it and you will always be stuck exactly where you stand right now. The soul knows its way home... In essence is the leader of your own underground railroad; on a journey to escape from societies foibles as well as your own self-flagellation...
Love this perception really is projection xx
