Lesson Learned From Recent Controversy Between The LP and Ron Paul

in freedom •  7 years ago

Theres a very, very important lesson to be learned by how this whole Ron Paul/LP Convention thing played out:  The Ron Paul sphere of libertarianism is the majority, by far.

A big  part of the reason we aren't happy with the LP is OUR FAULT. We never tended to it, we let the energy from the RP campaigns dissipate and fracture when we should have coalesced into the LP. In that regard, we  have nobody to blame but ourselves, myself included. I took the "LP is a  joke" route for years and I was wrong, it has boundless potential to be a vehicle for good.

But now you know that we have the power to heal the LP, to get that  energy and motivation and culture of work, results and FUN that we all  hold so dear in our hearts and memories back. Only this time, its an  organization, not a campaign. It never has to die as long as we keep  working. Join the LP. Become a paid member. #TakeHumanAction
