The complete opposite. I’ve lived in place that cop brutality and curroption is so bad that you don’t want to leave your home. A place where cops rape and kill people and steal their money. When you leave in a place like that, you quickly realize how good you have it here in the US.

I moved from NY to Las Vegas back in '85. I heard the same bullshit from other NYrs (and Californians... Chicago folks. Cleveland, Detroit.
