Oh, it's remembered very well!

Point to ponder: if FedGov cleaned out the gold, why is it that so many pre-1933 American gold coins sell at little above melt value?

If you ponder that point enough, you'll see why both gun confiscation and cryptocurrency confiscation would be little more than virtue-signalling law.

On this last point: did I mention that it's prudent to HODL your crypto in your own wallet?
