We want to live in peace, we want quality of life, we want freedom of expression!
WE WANT JUSTICE
WE WANT TO BE FREE

In a system where the media are citizens through social networks, where public services often limit us due to lack of Internet or light. Does freedom of expression really exist?

In a country where citizens cry, suffer and are dying due to the need for organized public policies, a system where they do not show the lack of medicines and food to the world.

In my city: San Cristóbal, one of the hardest hit by this crisis to be an "opposition" city, "the gochos" as they call us, we wanted to show the world the truth, and for many years there have been constant protests, specifically In 2014, the biggest protest of all, one where the city went into chaos, one where we wanted to exert pressure on the entire country so that the other cities would open their eyes, and many did not join, remained inert to the serious crisis, without knowing that everything was going to get worse.

Is there really freedom of expression in Venezuela?

After the protests, "The People's Guard" as it is called now, was dedicated not to be very "The People's Guard", violence, gases, shot and more were used to neutralize the protests of that 2014 and that still continue but already in other states due to the crisis so acute that we are going through, that year I dedicated my time to become a kind of graphic journalist, I had the opportunity to portray many moments, and although it was quite risky, I managed to capture the "Guardia Del People "I just want to be told if a protest for any need, for improving our quality of life, is not valid? What is it that really captures this guard during these protests?

People! (HEROES)

People equal to them, with the same needs, with the same deficiencies, with the same sadness, with the same desire to have a country to live happily, a country where we are all and there is space for many more!

Real Heroes

Fallen and Silenced Heroes by the Dictatorship, silenced by censorshi.

A country, where television is 98% of the government, a country where many radio programs have had to
close because they are afraid of what the government can do. Does freedom of expression really exist in Venezuela?

A country where many of those young people captured in the protests have had to flee for being persecuted politically, a country where after the protests raid the houses.

A country where you are watched and you feel constantly threatened:

A country if we really have something similar to a country, you do not say that you have freedom of expression when being against an idea makes you an enemy of the government, a country where you see ads like this everywhere:

"There is no bad talk about Chavez here"

Where do you feel watched with warnings that seem to come from the same "Big Brother", do you still believe that freedom of expression exists in my country?

In a country where dreams of liberation crush you because they brainwash your authorities:

Let the world open its eyes! Venezuelans want a better country, this is our home, this is our home.
