The logic of STILL supporting Obama

Wow this interview is fishing for faults.

So why was deficit spending required under Obama ? People seem to forget that he had to fight off the largest recession since the great depression left over from Bush.

I think she did very well if you consider the direction he was pushing her. Now she was probably not prepared for the grilling he gave her, while he put up a lot of hand picked 'facts'.
Look people, you are being taken for a ride and you get on the train of propaganda and pick the pieces you like and discard the ones you dislike ( and that is true for all sides, it is certainly true for me ).

No one is perfect. Obama was not, Bush wasn't and def. Trump is not. The question you ought to ask yourself is this. Was he the best man we could pick from the race. Which wars have been avoided by not going with Mitt Romney ( hint: Iran ) ? Where would your liberties be now wrt. "pro choice" or NSA surveillance ? Do you want to have more religious leader and move America towards a conservative theocracy ruled by a 'strong christian leader' ? Do you want to dismantle the federal government and give all powers back to the states ?

If you are truly convinced about a required change in a set direction ( libertarianism, conservatism, socialism, militarism, fascism, globalism, nationalism, etc ), then please look into countries / states which had something that approached close to a perfect form of that ideal. I believe what you will find is that any pure form of any social paradigm will suppress people in the worst possible form.

Most people are content in being upset with the current system ( whatever that may be ). Certain paradigms sound good and make sense ( Aka the grass is greener on the other side ), so they form a bias, which forms a tendency to listen to more information supporting that bias. Eventually it becomes a brainwash narrative where any other point of view is rejected based on principle instead of fact. Only the strong willed can break free and will seek to see other sides as well.

Don't look for what you don't have but look at what you have, and how you can improve on it. Take the Affordable Health Care Act ( Aka Obamacare ). Now if your believe system is such that you think we can and should support the weak and poor AND you think ACA is broken, then help on fixing it. If you think it can be fixed propose something that's better ( universal healthcare ? ).

There are those who think we should NOT support the week and poor and every one is out there for themselves. If you feel that way then ask yourself how our society would look like if you get your wish granted ? In that case, would you not see that any type of monetary recession would probably also kill you off ? Guns won't help a lot if no resources are distributed. Moving to the country side and living off-grid has issues when there is no police and the rule of law is written by the strongest group around. Again this would push us to a 'kingdom' or anarchy.

What I am saying is this. Everything in moderation, feel compassion, accept others views and opinions, stay strong together, nothing is ever perfect, help make things better for everyone not just for a few select ( region or religion or political leaning or ... etc . ).
