This post is to clarify the meaning of the name and the purpose of the series.    

First, and most importantly....

Purpose

The purpose of this series is to help reduce slavery and increase liberty. Ultimately, the end goal is to have zero slavery and complete liberty.  But hey, one step at a time, right?

A tall task, you might say.  And I would agree, it’s an immense task.  I just wish to do my part.  This series in particular exposes the immoral, hypocritical, ludicrous, and farcical institutions that are key in implementing and maintaining the current form of human slavery that exists.
 

By exposing these institutions, and helping people see the absurdity of them at their core, I hope the effect will be to “laugh them out of power”, so to speak.    

For example, if the majority of people at airports would laugh at the TSA (or whatever they’re called in whatever country) and disobey them, then a great deal of liberty would be achieved.    

Think about it.  

You have someone wearing a uniform and cheap plastic badge, who you don’t know, and they ask to search through your personal stuff, touch you, and radiate you.  Think how beyond silly that truly is.  So you say to the TSA worker, (while laughing):    

“No, I won’t let you go through my stuff.  I don’t know you.  How ridiculous! No, you can’t touch me.  What are you thinking? No, you can’t do that!” 

And yes, I have done this before.  And yes, I missed my flight.  And no, I don't regret it, because it was the right thing to do.

Which brings us as to why I titled this series the way I did.

Laughing At Statists – With the idea in mind to “laugh them out of power”.  A statist is anyone who believes that external authority exists (at least, in the form of "government), is legitimate, and should be obeyed.  All organizations I target in this series are operated by statists.    

Cutting The Crap – As in, stop the BS.  Stop the lies.  Let’s be honest and have some truth!

With The Blunt Edge Of Truth – One definition of “blunt” is “not sharp”, as with a knife.  This is NOT my intended use of the word “blunt”.

Another meaning of “blunt” is - Abrupt and often disconcertingly frank in speech

That is the definition I meant when I named this series.    

So this series is “stopping the lies with disconcertingly frank speech”

Anyone who has read this series knows that I pull no punches.    

That was my intended meaning when I titled this series.  Perhaps I could have come up with something better, but I thought it was somewhat comical and explained the purpose of the writing.
