A BIT OF HAPPINESS HIDDEN IN FOOD - I wanna my daily dose of Happiness - #N.7

Imagine from Web

Here we go again to talk about how to FEEL HAPPY.

But I'm sure that by dint of spreading positive news each of us can find the courage to change our approach to life. Yes, because Happiness does not come from the outside as we all think through material goods, this is what today's society wants us to believe.
Happiness has been in us since we were born, then the rhythms of daily life slowly take it away from us.

Then let's struggle to recover it.

We cannot do much I know to change our status quo, but we can go beyond any scheme and seek happiness inside ourselves and then share it with those around us.
I have spoken at length with the introduction to my new post about Food and Mood.

If it is true that we are what we eat, then let's eat those foods that make us happy.

So beware of what you eat because the recipe of Happiness can be hidden right in our dish.
By now scientific research has brought to light the importance of diet on metabolism, brain, energy level and mood.
Yes, even on our mood.
Foods that stabilize the blood sugar level by stimulating Seretonin, ie the substance that gives us a sense of well-being, they positively affect our mood.
In fact, a healthy diet with the right foods helps us keep depression away and increase our energy.

Everything starts from the morning:

it is important to have a rich breakfast to be already at the good point of the work for spending more serenely the day. So our breakfast can determine how we will deal with the rest of the day.
A cup of fresh fruit combined with a handful of dried fruit allows you to fill up on energy. Drink a bit of kefir, a fermented drink rich in probiotics, a panacea for the health of our intestines, containing tryptophan, an amino acid that helps increase Serotonin levels in the brain, kefir helps to reduce feelings of anxiety or depression.
Proceeding during the day with meals that include the foods listed below and our day will take another turn.

WATER

Imagine from Web

Drinking lots of water makes us feel good, drinking little makes us feel tired, with cognitive difficulties and without energy.
Proper hydration helps to regenerate the brain, literally refreshing it.

TEA AND COFFEE

Imagine from Web

To maintain a high level of attention and concentration drink only these 2 magical drinks, the stimulants par excellence as they contain theine and caffeine.
Erroneously considered distinct substances, in reality the only difference is the name attributed to them. The molecule is indeed the same, and is present not only in tea and coffee, but also in other foods, for example in guarana and chocolate. But we must not overuse caffeine because it can lower the seretonin level in the blood and do not use too much sugar too it is known how bad it is to use it.

FIBERS AND WHOLE GRAINS

Imagine from Web

Whole grains are completely absorbed by our body and numerous researches confirm the benefits in various aspects of our health in consuming them daily.
The fibers slow down the digestion, have a satiating effect ensuring a constant supply of energy. Just make a daily use of fruit, vegetables, whole grains and legumes to get all the benefits.

SALAD AND SPINACH

Imagine from Web

Rich in folic acid they take away the depression then thumb up to all the leafy vegetables.

DARK CHOCOLATE

Imagine from Web

Cocoa acts on the stress hormone and stimulates the production of endorphins, the natural drug of our brain that gives the right charge.
So if you feel like sweet while you're in a bad mood, a few squares of dark chocolate will immediately cheer you up.

NUTS

Imagine from Web
Cashews, almonds, hazelnuts, in short, dried fruit, makes the good mood come back. The sugars contained in it promote the absorption of substances by the brain that the brain itself re-elaborates to synthesize compounds such as Seretonin that control the mood. It also contains Magnesium, a fundamental mineral for our body as it transforms our sugars into energy.

SALMON

Imagine from Web

The salmon or any other fish rich in omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin D and antioxidants are good for the health of our body. In addition, the Omega 3 fatty acids that act on the hormone of good mood, Seratonin, fight depressive symptoms.

In short, the nutrients present in foods affect our physiology.

However, besides the choice of food it is important to have a lifestyle that promotes Good Mood.
Drive away from laziness and sedentary, but perform regular physical activity, a 30-minute walk is also sufficient for our body to release Endorphins and Seretonin in circulation.
Now we know how to fight and dispel disorders that compromise our serenity

So let's find the Smile again just by following the proper attentions.
