That’s because it’s the “bottom of the barrel”. Typing is no longer a rare skill. Anyone can type and they can do it on any device, anywhere. You’re fighting a million other bidders and, in most cases, you’re fighting for clients who only care about the cheapest price.
It’s a horrible market. Train for something better.
What’s better than data entry? Pretty much anything. You’re better off looking at what skills you have and what you love doing. Find where the two intersect, then consider how you can turn that into an earning proposition.
And yes, I know that’s vague. But it’s a good starting point.
