Beautiful virgin weeping over a broken column

This is one of a few symbols exclusive to Freemasonry. Has anyone else ever seen it anywhere? That's time (Kronos/Saturn) unfolding and counting the ringlets of her hair.

After some googlage, it appears that the image first appeared in The True Masonic Chart, or, Hieroglyphic Monitor, written in 1819.

Guessing it was black and white before that or "secret"
