WTF...!!! Sumptins Amiss in Da World...!?!?!?!?

in freespeech •  5 years ago  (edited)

I've been sitting at this damn keyboard for about two days now, waiting for something...ANYTHING...to spark the creative juices within me to begin flowing...

FINALLY...something has happened worth writing about.

EVERYTHING'S GOING TO SHIT...!!!

This Clovid-19 crap has caused all the Markets to crash worldwide and it's driving people nuts!!! They're running around buying up all the toilet paper and important stuff like that from the shelves of stores across the globe...

Except of course...not from places where the people don't use toilet paper...like in the middle of the jungle. They have plants with nice big leaves to wipe their butts with. They're lucky.

I wonder how people clean their asses in the desert? They only have prickly leaves out there, if they have any at all...Maybe they use sand? Their butts have been toughened up over the years from using sand since birth, maybe?

A lot of you know that I'm from NYC, but I spend most of my time somewhere else now. My nephew called me from New York a couple of days ago to warn me that the stores were running out of toilet paper, hand sanitizers and Tylenol...He suggested I go out and get some before it happened in my area.

The next day, I ventured out to see how Walmart was faring with regards to these extraordinarily, important items for sustaining life upon the planet. There were signs that it 'had' begun here too...!!!

Just as I thought I'd by a carton of toilet paper to re-sell at a profit when people ran out and became desperate...It was too late!!!

The toilet tissue was completely sold out!!! DAMNIT!!!

No ten dollar profit a roll for me any time soon. Maybe I'll be paying ten dollars a roll myself from people who beat me to the punch...

Anywayz…

Look at the price of TRON... Less than a penny, and falling fast...!!! I know that some people are grinning about that, after all the shenanigan going on with Justin and his bag of tricks...but, STEEM ain't doing too well either!!! Heading towards 9 cents is kind of scary.

I'm not afraid though...not about any of this shit...I only have me and my cat to fend for at the moment. I 'AM' concerned for family members though, especially the grandkids...I'm probably the most prepared and skilled for any "SHTF" scenario, and the family is not close enough for me to help out, if need be.

New York City just declared a State of Emergency and started restricting movement in some areas already. If people want to get out, they probably need to do it right away, or else they may not be easily able to in the very near future.

What good is having a Bugout location, if you can't get to it? In 'that' case, you have to shelter in place and deal with the roving bands of marauders.

There's talk about this all being a planned event as a vehicle to 'Re-Set' the Global order of things; particularly the monetary system.

Whatever Clovid-19 is as well as how it came about, if 'that' wasn't a purposeful Psyopt release, it sure seems like the powers-that-be have used this disease to initiate at 'least' a grand experiment upon the masses...

Hmmmnnnnnnnnn….Remember those FEMA camps being set up around the States for years now, and those empty ex-Walmart facilities around the Country? A lot of people were speculating as to what they were going to be used for.

Now...maybe we know.

Try to stay calm folk...you think better when you're calm, rather than an emotional wreck.

@AngryMan wishes you and your loved ones, all the best possible outcome from this big mess...

Talk at'cha soon...

Ciao

No body panic 😱😬🤣😉

time to invest in whoever makes toilet paper! I live in a country where we all use "bum guns" so toilet paper is completely optional here.

I am a little afraid at how crazy the world can go due to social media and MSM. When it started happening a couple days ago I though the whole rush on TP was just a joke. It's a very real situation apparently.

The markets will recover, this is a time to buy if you have the ability to do so.

Hi @gooddream, nice to hear from you.

Oh those 'bum guns'... are those the things hanging off walls there with spray nozzles on them?

Yeah; no joke about the toilet paper stampede...!!! I thought it was a joke too when first hearing about it.

You are probably right about the markets recovering. I agree as well about 'buying' if able.

Hope all is well with you and waggly-tale in the Land of Smiles.

Ciao

the "bum guns" we have them in USA but normally they are attached to a sink for rinsing off dishes. I have always wondered that if South East Asians weren't told beforehand if they would think that Americans wash their behinds in the kitchen sink because I have never seen them on a sink in this country, only attached to the wall next to a toilet :)

Some Asians might think that we wash our butts in the kitchen sink if they see those spray guns attached there :>) I once filled up a hand-sink in a Pakistani families home that I was working in, to splash my hot, dusty face and the lady of the house almost fainted...She tried to signal me that they use it to wash babies butt in because she did not speak English and I didn't speak Urdu...

haha, yeah there are a lot of cultural faux pas's out there, yours is a winner!

I am so glad I live in a sensible set of towns. No panic buying of crap additives as of yet for use in either Soldotna, or Kenai,AK. I guess we will see on Sunday our runaround day, nothing out of the ordinary last Sunday, so hopefully it stays that way. This time of year for us is stock up time any way, so not sure I would notice any difference. People with long driveways, or that live off of soft roads during break-up have a tendency to stock up just in case the roads are nothing but mud tracks, or the bridge washes out yet again. (not either of the bridges we have to drive over, but a couple south of us have that tendency).

It is rather nice to live in a normal community even though I hate and detest all the snow we have had this year. But a lot of people see all the snow and the potential for being isolated for a few days during break-up. Our Hospital is not even panicking, they called me to schedule my appointment for a cat scan, I put it off for six months, just to be on the safe side.

During the blowing dust and sand season the Kenai Crud will start up, dry coughs and runny noses from all the winter sand being swept up, (hasn't started yet, still to much snow). and turning the environment here into a dust bowl. I'm sure by then they will try and panic the population, but I'm not sure the people here will buy in to it. Anchorage is another story, they have already had their toilet paper run, but then again, it is where the snowflakes live among the snow flakes so what can I say, they are one of those abbynormal small cities that think they are big time.

People are people, they don't think, to late to leave New York. I hope all the New Yorkers have the Move Escape from New York, they should maybe review it to get some ideas on how to escape.

I have spent time in some of those small cities that had a certain type of pompous people who thought they were "big time" as well, so I understand what you mean. Actually I always found it kind of pathetically sad, how delusional some people can be about certain things. It's similar to those who think they, or others are 'rich' because they drive a luxury car, or own a business etc.

Hope you don't get stuck in the mud or have a bridge washed out. Good luck with that Cat Scan too...

Cat scan wont be done for another 6 months. I am already tired of them, but they are needed I suppose, if the Virus is still around and people dying in hospitals it will have to wait longer. I'm in that what ever they call it group likely to die if I contract the virus, so safety first.

I left Holland last Monday , drove about 3500 km , crossed many borders , did not sleep match , travelling mostly at night to avoid jams , arrived at the spot in Greece yesterday , ill make some post about that later , like how G,maps send me on a airfield runway in Kosovo and more . I think i should not have left later , saw lots of covid19 panic at border-controls . The area i am at now in Greece seems free of this panic , could buy as many rolls off toilet-paper as i could carry if i wanted to , all around there are circled A's spray-painted along the roads , ..... I think i like it here ,.... living in a tent away from the madness . Greats from Greece , :-)

Hi @small1axe … I'm glad you made it to Greece safely and that you 'like' it there so far...
Perhaps 'that' is where you are 'supposed' to be for now? The great spirit of the Universe guided you to that location...??? I look forward to hearing more about your adventure in future posts. (Hopefully I won't 'miss' them in my 'feed')

It must be the universal spirit that guided me , cause , i was an emotional wreck during most of the trip , felt every emotion known to mankind while driving ,, except fear , it scared me on times , but that kept me awake , fear would have killed me , as fear always tries . I posted a update in freespeech , your the king there , youll find it , ;-)

I found it there.
