The first thing I thought of when I seen the prompt for today was Beauty and the Beast and Mrs' Potts pouring tee and the sugar bowl that put the spoonfuls in the cup for you and then I wondered if the sugar bowl in Alice in Wonderland did the same thing but I think no, didn't the doormouse hang out in the sugar bowl? I'll have to watch it again to see. The sword in the Stone definitely had an anmated one too. And Fantasia. Disney likes sugarbowls apparently. Anyway, it got me thinking where else have I seen sugar bowls in my life. Have I ever seen one in real life? I can't remember. Then I remember IT. Not the new one, he miniseries with Tim Curry as Pennywise and the scene where Bevi goes home and the nice old lady lives where she used to and Bevi goes inside to have tea with her and the old woman gets all scary and nasty while she's pouring out the tea and she offers her sugar with rotten teeth and black stuff oozing from her mouth and then the old woman changes to her dad and the tea cup falls and breaks. What A scary scene! I get chills right now. That is what sugar bowl brought to my thoughts. I'm sure I've seen one somewhere in a thrift store I think. Maybe not. Must not have been that important. I guess I'm just a movies kind of guy.
