Confessing is of no use, but changing is!

Stell visited Tony’s domicile. Tony welcomed with a warming smile and got himself ready to get catechized.

“Have you ever heard about Church lady?” asked Stell

No…pat came the reply shrugging his shoulders.

Maybe kinda feminine gender name for Father? Stell muttered fearing backlash from him.

Tony smiled and checked in the Google only to find that it is kind of character played in a series.

“I made a peccadillo and want remission for that”, said Stell.

“Father is there in the church to be your confessor. Go and cleanse yourself” Tony exclaimed

“No, I can’t” said Stell with a wink.

“Why?” questioned Tony who became wild-eyed.

“Coz if there is a position called church lady to profess my sins, how fine would that be?” sullen Stel replied.

“Is your flaw that much worse that you can’t reveal it to the Church Father? Tony answered with a sardonic smile.

Stell was quizzical and put up a blank face.

Tony continued, “You may confess. Father may remit, but that’s not enough because it’s not of any use if you perceive. You must rectify” he said stubbornly.

Actually am against this practice, Tony said harshly, “People are thinking that confessing is enough, but changing isn’t! It’s all an ultimate waste of time” Tony blasted with a grudge and went out.

Stell became slack-jawed and stood still!
