backwoods I wasn't familiar with what that word meant and had to look it up in the dictionary.
- remote uncleared forest land
- the middle of nowhere
- remote areas
- the wild
Ok, let me tell you something. Now I live in Fresno and compared to LA this is kind of in the boonies. And even though there is no forest in the close proximity, overall one can even call it backwoods with a fair amount of precision.
Thus, I'd like to show you some places in that so-called "blackwoods."
