DAILY PROMPT: RED LIGHT
Something about the sun and the red mountains, that red light; it's beautiful. The Valley of Fire is so appropriately named. In Fact the entire pallet of colors it borrows come from the red, orange, crimson families. It's just breath taking life has a way of throwing curve balls so I havent been able to get out that way in almost two years
The drive is actually quite beautiful and if you ever have the chance of being here in the Las Vegas, Nevada area, must take time from the glitter and glam of the strip lights and enjoy the beauty the desert has to offer. People get so consumed with the lights, and the slots that they lose. Not just money either; they lose sight on what vacation means. To disconnect, relax and take in what we need and that's nature. -
Taking a day while on vacation to witness the beauty is a must. You'll never feel so good. Getting out there you realize we are a lot more than they tell us, let us be. The world is so much bigger that they tell us, or let us be. There are secrets, hiding out in those mountains. I know for a fact. PETROGLYPHS litter The Valley of Fire. Where you find them, know that there was a civilization of people who lived and a life we have very little information on. Well, exceptfor what they tell us. Whatever they want the standard to be but they only speak in half truths. Museums did a good job of collecting artifacts under the guise of curating but only got rid of any evidence of things they did not want us to know. It just that simple.
When you go out there you realize it, you feel it. It's hard to describe it but if you give it the chance and rib away from the "real world" to enjoy it. You'll see how fake the world you live in is. Back to the petroglyphs
Theres a trail there where a petrified log ended up washings down into the valley . The trail has some signs that tell you some history about the log. How it washed up here from an ancient forest that existed not too far away. During the age of the reptilians. No joke.
You have to get your timing correct and I still havent till this day, but the Rainbow Valley is just breathtaking at sunset.
