I am a big guy. Size 13 shoes, 1,93 meters tall. I have been big all my life and I do not know how I would cope if I was smaller. Size has its disadvantages but I have always enjoyed the advantages.
No one ignores me. My opinion will be heard. At times it seems as if I have more authority because I am the biggest guy in the room. Cupboards are never too high. The front seat in your car is reserved for me as if my name is printed on it. I am a big guy and I like it!
Age has changed that somewhat. My middle is bigger than it should be. And cupboards can be too low. Actually, they often are and I think that might be the most important reason I had kids...
As a result of my size, I prefer everything to be bigger. The saying, 'Less is more' just does not work for me. I'll often say, 'If less is more, just think how much more more would be.' It does not make sense, I know. But I say it from on high with a deep voice and people usually smile and nod.
The saying, 'Dynamite comes in small packages.' is often true but I do not enjoy it since I am not a small package. Bigger is better. And when you give me a gift, bigger is better. I remember when everyone tried to buy the smallest cell phone on the market. I'm glad it is a thing of the past and my phone now is nearly the size of a tablet. Bigger is better.
You may say, 'What if I send you a valuable diamond? That package would be small and very valuable' Well, what if you sent me a bigger package with many diamonds? Which would be better?
Bigger is better!
