Let me start off with the fact that I am new to Steemit and this is my first post. Originally it looked like a good platform to post my photo's, but on further investigation it appears to much more than that. I plan to make up a profile in the near future, time permitting.
Several years ago I had the great fortune to spend the afternoon wandering around the French Quarter of New Orleans. A couple of Hurricane's from Pat O'Briens's set the mood and I was off on a walkabout with no particular destination in mind. I happened upon the Cafe Du Monde, one of the timeless classics of the district.
The French Quarter is an amazing and unique destination in this world. I highly recommend it goes on your bucket list.
