Halloumiburger and sweet potato wedges - the perfect combination to come home after work. You will especially enjoy this extraordinary combination with kiwi. The slightly sourish sweetness of the fruit blends perfectly with the salty Halloumi. And this time, your salad will be seasoned with a nutty pumpkin dressing. As always, burger time is happy time!
Here's what you need:
- 200 g Halloumi
- 1 piece kiwi
- 1 piece tomato
- ½ piece cucumber
- 1 piece sweet potato
- 2 pieces Burger bun
- 20 g Italian hard cheese
- 10 ml Pumpkin seed oil
- 20 ml mayonnaise
- 1 piece Salat
And here's how you cook it:
Peel sweet potato, cut into 1 cm wide slices and spread on a baking sheet covered with baking paper. Sprinkle with plenty of salt and pepper and bake on the middle tray in the oven (200°C) for 15 - 20 minutes.
Cut Halloumi into 1 cm thick slices. Peel and slice the kiwi. Halve the tomato, remove the stalk and slice the tomato halves. Cut the cucumber into 1 cm cubes. Halve the salad heart, remove the stalk and cut the salad into strips.
Slice burger buns. Heat butter in a large pan over medium heat, roasting the halves of the bread with the cut surface facing down for 2 - 3 minutes. Then remove and put aside for a short time.
Heat the oil in the pan and fry the halloumi slices on each side for 2 minutes until golden brown.
Grind hard cheese. Add pumpkin seed oil, vinegar, salt and pepper in a large bowl to a dressing.
Add lettuce, cucumber cubes and grated hard cheese and mix well.Spread buns with a little mayonnaise.
Then top up with tomato, halloumi and kiwi slices. Enjoy together with salad and sweet potato wedges.
