TuesdayOrange Fox!

Second day of my resumed Weekly Challenge #frichallenge where I picked Teabag Creations and #colorchallenge!

I decided to try a drawing today, and what's nicer than a sweet orange stretching fox! (Reference photo from pinterest)

Again, I've never tried to draw on tea bags, so it was an experiment!

It's useful that the tea bag paper is transparent, if you want to trace your object - I do that sometimes, but not always.
It also meant I had to find a white background to draw upon, so the contours of my wooden table didn't confuse the drawing. I quickly found out that the pen goes through the paper though!

So I had to find a paper to draw on top of, instead of my son's book ;)

Maybe there's a great use too for the fact that you can draw through the paper, but I haven't found that yet - I move the paper often when I draw, so it was more annoying that the lines that went through came through again on my side ;)

I colored it with watercolours and white ink (the battery of my camera is flat and I cannot find the charger, so not many WIP photos here!)

So here's the result!

It's funny how it appears different on different backgrounds:

It also comes out great on the back side (maybe even better?)

I think it might look even better glued on something (the glue makes the colors sharper and the paper more transparent), but I didn't know what to glue it on to. I think I will use it for the cover of a future notebook (I do bookbinding as well).
