2 hrs, 2 days, arggh logistics, putting things together in virtual spaces to satisfy physical places and payments — some days I just wake up and it’s all hands to the pumps (quite literally — including steem!)

Friday the 13th always had a weird storage in the back of my brain somewhere, maybe it was the films I used to watch at my friends house over lunchtime from school, he lived really close so we went back there for French toast like everyday and his mum would be doing exercises in a weird plastic seat that you shuffle on — it was weird.

It was the 80’s so it was weird times, lots of American shock poorly put together horror films but then also stuff like scanners and re-animater, I remember my friend really liked horror movies, he was a bit of an alternative kid like me but I was into my computers and gaming more.

Any who. .

It seems that steem is doing well at the moment and bitcoin is moving up and steem is correlating along with it, we are nearly back at $3 from our lows of $1.20 something what seems like last week.

I’ve activated my savings to pull out because it’s high because if I can sort out these two power downs into bitcoin and then into local bitcoins then maybe I’ll be able to get on top of bills for the end of the month a little earlier and give myself some mental breathing room.

if not stated some of my photos are from unsplash a free site for images, also you can grab some cool images from nomad.pictures a site i run with @dayleeo to get pictures out of the camera roll and onto the web - Photo by W A T A R I on Unsplash

Today was gonna be the day we setup a table outside and sorted out all the stuffs but it’s still wet, damp and cold — tomorrow we have a break in all of that and the hot weather comes in so today is gonna be another admin day.

Whenever life logistics decides to kick in I always try and ramp up the creativity and creative side of my life to balance things out otherwise you become this drone that’s just always living to exist, you gotta find personal hacks to make it all worth doing you know?

There is a lot to be done.

I think it’s fair to say that I was really entrenched in blockchain tech in the first three months of the year and I really discovered a lot about myself regards finances and working — it was directly connected to output, income, watching and processing the volatility of the markets too.

Which was unhealthy but also healthy in another way, I know different now for next year, for the first three months of next year I’m gonna go straight into building out — take whatever is working, build on it, until april or may time, if I’m on the road it’s gonna be vlogging updates daily from the road.

I’ve learned that while the residuals are great to ’topup’ funds each and every month I’m not at that level yet where I can be confident that even if I don’t finish a project it won’t impact my life and that needs to change.

I’ve really been questioning what I would do if I was living on a basic income, like, what I would LOVE to be doing if I had all my basic incomes covered, even if my basic is really that basic? - is that one bill that covers my heating, roof over my head, electric etc a good price, could I do better?

And it’s got me thinking not only incomes but upgrades, the faster the net goes, the more we have to be concerned as to where we work (heat, flooding, food) the more I’m going to need to rapidly change things up, I need to build in contingency plans to compensate for all those things — that often takes financial resources.

So it’s time to downsize again.

When I first arrived at the van three years or more ago I came with very little each weekend, I only came for weekends so I could spend time with my daughter here and she had some consistency in her life — then I build up from a few things to a bunch of things — bits and pieces of ‘projects’ I would work on that just got half way, that was dumb.

Now I want to either give, sell or barter that stuff away and get myself a hiking sized backpack with ‘a life in it’ — some clothes, supplies, a real life go back to signal the universe I want that van life, I want to be able to transition quickly I guess I’m saying between places and people and events.

Me and dayle have made SO MUCH progress in the last six months together and apart in our collective areas — dayle has constantly had a remote client that she works with and they require things from here and picks up a cheque most weeks.

I’ve upgraded and replaced some of the things that were frustrating me, the lights crashing down every time we moved, taking up space, the iPad constantly needing resetting each day as a router — all those micro frustration gone, hell I even carried a very heavy elgato greenscreen on my shoulder so I could do video and live stream easier — I’m kinda set with the tools that I’ve wanted for the last year.

And that is where the last three months discovery have been. .

The realisation that I operate better when I feel like I’m in some level of control of my environment. We all do that right? Sometimes we don’t know that but we know what annoys us and what demotivates us, when we sell ourselves short or don’t quite stack up to the standards we put on ourselves.

I ignored my health a little, allowed that stuff to mentally stack up, got stuck on a loop instead of stopping, getting up, walking outside and taking time out to recalibrate — that shit is so valuable, if that means the most honest fucking @dtube vlog you have ever made so be it.

what do you have to lose really when we now live across decentralised blockchain powered social networks, I mean really — ask yourself, how have you changed since you started getting financial rewards for your stories and thoughts?

The rain is here again today, I’m keen to get some recordings done and I’m keen to do some tests to make sure I can actually receive some funds into one of my accounts that i’ll be using for paying bills at the end of the month, if I know that’s sorted then I can pretty much just get up daily and crank away at my everlasting lists - want to do so much more @dlive streaming in the next three months.

Right, time to put together some @steemhunt posts together and start re-looking at sections for the next 3/4hr course.

oh btw, bit of fire for you for the friday night. ..

On Friday the 13th, I can imagine something terrible.
Today is the day ~ Take care of yourselves!

I was never into horror films and I'm not superstitious.

You are a real pioneer in this new blockchain era. I can imagine you'll be upgrading the van in years to come

thanks @steevc that's quite the compliment.
