A hunk of California jasper
maybe, not real sure
about this one.
Ruler is 12'' by 8'' inches.
The holes could of been ate
away by little sea creatures.
It's hard to tell if this rock
is all jasper or what, the
holes have a different color.
Used flash on this one to
see better into the voids.
This rock has been around.
Found north of Bodega bay
California, near a place
called Goat Rock many
moons ago.
The rocks are building up
soon they will be #bouldersunday
and #mountainmonday!

That is really cool! It almost looks like a red skinned potato! I just learned about piddock clams that make holes in rocks. I had never heard of such a thing!

out there, lots of agates too, tho different than the
ones here, they had more of some kind of white
stuff on them. We've found very few like that here.
More blazing yellow, orange and reds here.
