One of my College friends who just got back from Malaysia initiated a get together, something that we haven't tried before, a staycation as they called it. She booked a hotel using the very reliable site called airbnb in Olivarez Tagaytay that costs 3,500php (estimated amount) for 5 persons.

I travelled for an hour and a half to get there. I met with my friend, Grace at Fora, a mall near the condo we booked. It was a 5 minutes walk away from the mall and 2 minutes ride away via Tricycle. She already checked before she met me. Since the 3 friends of ours will arrive in the evening because they still have work that day, we decided to shop for our dinner and buy some snacks. It was just the two of us and we made sure we bougth everything we need before heading back to the hotel.

The unit was amazing. The owner arranged things in the right place making the room look more spacious. I really like it. Toilet and shower area is in different room. There's an extra mattress, and a sliding bed. The place fits to 5 to 7 people. It is very comfortable. The kitchen wares were all complete. Their refrigirator is small but it was enough to stock food for our overnight stay. The place is very well taken care of. It is very neat.

This is the view from the balcony of our room in 21st floor. The air was so fresh and very far from pollution.

What's the funniest thing that I did this staycation was that I cooked an Adobo. I just followed the video I watched in youtube. It was my first time to cook this dish and I guess it wasn't that good but for a first timer like me, they did like it or should I say, they were just too hungry so they don't have a choice. Well, it's an achievement for me. Lol.

After our dinner, we play board and stack games provided by the owner. We talked and shared about our lives while watching Netflix. We laughed at every joke we cracked and we really missed each other.

We woke up with the breakfast prepared by our friend, Crislie. We ate while talking about random stuff. Sipping our coffees while remembering the old times.

After our breakfast we went to the Pent House and took pictures of us and the beautiful view we saw up there. We can see from there the Fora Mall I have mentioned above. We didn't stay too long because it was already hot that time and decided to go to the 3rd floor where the pool is located.

After an hour of swimming, we head back to our room, arranged our things, and prepared for our check out. We left the place around 12noon and we had our luch at Fora Mall and then we separated ways. We didn't stroll around the Tagaytay 'cause we don't have much time to do so. Maybe next time we will.

It was a very very fun day! It's really nice to catch up with your long time friends!
