Today I travelled back to 1991.

Around noon-ish two of my oldest friends, Ned and Guy, came over for a day of lazy shenanigans. Ned and Guy have known each other since kindergarten and I met them both freshman year of high school. Which was THIRTY years ago!!!

Then.... senior year.

And a week ago. 😂

How did we spend our day?

Eating junk food and playing video games! 😁

Huddled around the TV.

They arrived to my house with burgers from Dick’s Drive-In and a box of cookies as appetizers. Then we ordered Pagliacci pizza. After about an hour of eating and chit chat we played Nintendo for 8 hours! 😳🙃😂

OK, I MIGHT have fallen asleep for part of the video game playing....

The boys, plus husband, played some games that were boring me to tears. So, I took a nap break. After my quick snooze, I went outside for a minute to soak up another perfect autumn day.

It was warm and lovely.

The dogs were not impressed.

After the boring games, we played one of my old school faves - Dr. Mario. It is included in a game pack for the Nintendo Switch. Later we switched over to the Nintendo Wii. We spent the last part of the evening playing Mario Party 10.

I feel super lucky to have a core group of friends that have been together through everything. Adulting is often dumb. Good friends make everything more fun. ☺️
