Frozen lake farts!

Those icy circles are frozen methane bubbles underneath Spray Lake near Canmore, Alberta. The bubbles are usually caused by decaying matter being munched on by bacteria.

    This photo is awesome. I wish i could be there to see it myself. I would defiantly lose my breath with the scenery! Keep steeming on and posting such rad pictures!
