What is a Fruitarian ? Dr. Robert Morse Explains

in fruit •  6 years ago  (edited)

I have mentioned Dr. Morse here on Steemit before and discovered that he is not as well known as I had assumed.
So I thought it might be helpful to introduce him and the ideas that he espouses.
Or rather to let him introduce himself.

I don’t describe myself as a “fan”, but I do agree with many if not most of his conclusions.
And I certainly can’t dispute the results he claims that he has witnessed during the course of his forty years of practice.

For about six months now, I have been trying my best to eat a mostly fruit based diet. I do cheat by eating some small amounts of grain products occasionally such as bread, oatmeal, and even some chips now and then. Plus I eat the few veggies that I grow in my garden.
But for the most part fruit is it.

I can report that the effects are pretty dramatic. Many of the negative little things about my health, such as bad skin, chronic dandruff, digestive and prostrate issues, even my daily morning sneezing fits have shown remarkable improvement.

I don’t know enough science to be able to absolutely recommend this practice. It’s just that much of it makes sense to me and I am happy with my experience after embracing the practice.

I just present the information as something to consider for those who are interested in getting and staying healthy.

You have a minor misspelling in the following sentence:

And I certainly can’t dispute the results he claims that he has witnessed during the course of his fourty years of practice.
It should be forty instead of fourty.

Boy oh boy you found that fast. Thanks.
