I shot this photo using my Cannon 80D and edited both in Lightroom. In the color version "noise" / "graininess" was a bit more prevalent so I needed to use additional noise reduction as well as turn down some of the "Clarity" to smooth things out. When shooting Long Exposure shots, additional noise can become problematic but overall i was happy with the outcomes and glad I got back into trying this out again.

I hope to try some other techniques and share them with you all in the future.

Let me know if you have any questions or if you have any suggestions or critiques on my photos. I am always open to Critical Criticism and always looking to improve.

This was a Long Exposure experiment as well since it had been quite a while since I had time to mess around with the "Bulb" setting on my camera.

If you decide you'd like to get some extra mileage out of you #monochromonday photos then simply post the same photo, but this time in color so we can see what they look like in contrast to each other in monochrome and full color. That turned put very cool.

What were those just ordinary lights originally that are now seemingly blasting across the sky?!

Ha ! I used the "Bulb" setting and when I was focused all the way in I pressed the shutter button and then manually zoomed out slowly while camera was on the tripod. Check this blog out where I explain a few more tricks. https://steemit.com/longexposurephotography/@steveconnor/painting-with-light-long-exposure-photography If you want to try any of these effect feel free to ask and I can try to help out . thanks for stopping by !

here's a "normal" shot without the effects for your reference
